Bharat Ennum Naan is a political thriller film written and directed by Koratala Siva. Mahesh Babu plays the titular role, Bharat. The movie has Kiara Advani as Mahesh’s pair. DVV Dhanayya bankrolled the film. Bharat Ennum Naan star cast includes R Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Praneeth Pabbathi, Rama Prabha, “Aamani,” “Devaraj,” “Sithara,” Devadas Kanakala, Yashpal Sharma, P Ravishankar, Rao Ramesh, Actor Ajay, Ramajogayya Sastry, “Brahmaji” and many others. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. “Ravi K Chandran” and “Tirru” cranked the camera and Sreekar Prasad edited the film.

Plot

Bharat completes his graduation at Oxford University. He returns to his homeland, following his father’s death. Bharat's godfather convinces him and makes him the CM. After crowning as the CM, Bharat finds out certain discrepancies. Bharat decides to uplift the standard of the weaker sections and works out accordingly. His honest actions as the responsible CM affect the opposition party and his party. What happens next? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Mahesh Babu, the Prince Charm has fit in the role perfectly and this is his best performance, so far. He impresses the audiences as a dynamic Chief Minister. Mahesh appears as the ideal CM. Prakash Raj has given an excellent performance, as ever. Sarathkumar has also done his role perfect. Kiara Advani has no big role, but she looks gorgeous.

Analysis

Koratala Siva, the director who already worked with Mahesh in Selvandhan, has come with a good script and had executed it well. After becoming the CM, Mahesh’s decisions and his sharp concentration on the state of affairs have been well planned and worked out. The Disproportionate asset case and assembly scenes are the highlights of the film. The movie is technically sound and the production designer, cinematographers and the music composer should be appreciated for their excellence!

Verdict

Bharat Ennum Naan is a wonderful political thriller drama that suits the present situation. The movie is non-preachy, but clearly explains the responsibility of the public and the politicians. It is definitely a watch worthy film!
